How to Set Boundaries and Improve Your Relationships

Relationships are so important, but what happens when your close connections fall apart?

Whether it is a romantic relationship, a friendship, or a co-working dynamic, relationships can shift in energy and when people change so do our connections.

When you commit to personal growth, and go on a healing journey you start to grow and expand. Sometimes the people around you won’t expand as fast or in the same direction. The dynamic can shift your connections, and cause toxicity. People will start to relate to you in different ways, because you are changing. The goal is to allow yourself to expand, and continue to honor your true self. By sharing your feelings, expressing yourself openly and honestly with these around you and honoring your own needs by setting clear boundaries you can call in healthier relationships. Also, recognize that honesty is important in any relationship, but friends who are also unkind can be toxic, and any relationship can become toxic when one person is less invested than the other.
