Banish Your Bad Day: Quick Fixes

So you had a bad day or maybe a bad week. Maybe it’s an awful month or, even worse, it’s just been a tough year with no end in sight. You might feel totally alone. You might feel like no one understands and nothing can make it better. I totally get it; I’ve had my share of bad days. Those days when nothing goes right. The entire day spirals out of your control and there is nothing you can do to stop it. The anxiety is closing in on you, and all your positive tools and stress management skills have flown out the window. All you can do is look forward to bedtime, when the horrid day will be over.

Here are fixes to turn that bad day around. These quick solutions will help you banish your bad day.

1. Embrace it.

Instead of trying to get happy, allow yourself to be fully in the bad day. If you are having a bad day, nurture yourself and let yourself feel your emotions.

2. Free your feelings.

During bad days you might be avoiding your feelings. Instead, feel the xxx, Let yourself cry, let yourself feel angry, focus on feeling your feelings and free them. This will help you moving through your bad day with more grace.

3. Follow your inspiration.

We are always receiving guidance and intuitive nudges. Trust your guidance and tune into them. When I have tough days, my inner guide tells me to go out into nature, or take a mid-day nap, or meditate, or go to the gym. When I follow through, I always feel better.
