Welcome. This program is designed to help you eliminate fear-based thoughts, actions and habits and step into a peaceful way of being. By the end of this 5-Day Fear Detox, you’ll be able to eliminate drama; remove yourself from toxic situations, habits and patterns; and be able to discern your truth with love. Starting this morning, every single thing we do, each day, will be working toward those goals. So let’s get started.
Set your intentions for this program and the day.
Create a focus on how you want to feel by the end of the 5 days.
The first thing to do each morning during the program is write down or meditate on everything for which you’re are grateful. I like to do this first thing when I wake up while still lying in bed. It can be anything for which your heart feels love: your furry fellows, your children, your health, a great job, friends that inspire you, good books that you love, nature time, your partner, etc.—anything that makes you feel good. Celebrate it.
Creating a daily routine that includes focusing on what you appreciate in life will help you connect to peace and lead to joy. The fastest way to happiness and peace is to be thankful for what you have. Gratitude is the life force of everything. When things don’t go well, it can be easy to fall into doubt, blame and thoughts of separation. Return yourself to appreciation and repeat, “All is well.”
Have you been focusing your attention on lack? You may feel pressure from the world to be more, have more and do more, but your true self already knows that you are enough. Instead of focusing on what you don’t have, take a moment to identify all the things you are grateful for. What is going well in your life? What are you thankful for? When we connect to all that is well, with care, we can transform our suffering into freedom.
Focus on the positive things in your life and remind yourself that even when things are difficult and you are challenged there are always good things around you. Think about what they are daily. Whenever we find ourselves in a worry cycle, practicing appreciation can help bring you back to your center. Share with us one thing you are grateful for today on our private Facebook group.
The goal is to tap into an appreciation mindset, which will help you shift your focus to gratitude. The reason we do this is not only because it’s a wonderful way to start the day—it also sets the tone and establishes a positive outlook for your life. Plus scientific studies have shown that the power of positive thinking can affect our overall health and mental wellbeing.*
