Do you feel stuck or frustrated? Are you wondering why things aren’t going the way you want? I have a little secret I use in my life and business, and it gets me unstuck every time.

In fact, people often ask how I am able to manifest things quickly. I always say my secret tool: “I set intentions.”

Do you set intentions? An intention is the thing that you plan to do or achieve; it is an aim or purpose. Having a purpose to everything you do will help you feel more empowered and happy.

I make intentions with everything I do, and they help me get the results I want much faster. Even in taking my trip to the Caribbean, I set three clear intentions for the outcome I’d like to receive.

If you feel stuck or trapped in old patterns that aren’t serving you, aligning your heart with loving intentions will help you get unstuck.

Look at your own life—where do you feel the most stuck? Watch this weeks video, then apply intentions to that area of your life. You may be blown away at the new results you see in your life.

Important note: Setting intentions can be fun, but the tricky thing is you release the outcome of when and how. Many people set an intention, and if things don’t happen when they want or how they want, they get mad and resentful. The point of making intentions is not the outcome as much as the process. Setting an intention is about you aligning your energy to what you want so you can feel more empowered and connected to your goals.

We set intentions to direct our life, but you must allow for trust and faith in your higher power to give you what you need, even if you think you know what you want. Making an intention is like putting in your wish, but it is essential you let go of when and how your wish comes true.

Here are three reasons why you should set intentions:

1. Focuses Your Energy

If we don’t know what we want, we will keep getting what we don’t want. If you feel as if you are floundering or stuck in certain patterns, setting an intention focuses your energy on what you want instead of what you don’t want. Many of us have situations in our life that we don’t like or want, such as a lack of money, an overweight body, or lack of clarity in a certain area of our life. Setting an intention to earn more money, feel good in a healthy body, or get clear about your fear will help focus your energy.

2. Aligns Your Actions

Setting an intention helps you make smarter choices and take action in that area of your life. Let’s say you set an intention to lose weight. Just aligning yourself to this mission helps you take action to reach that outcome. Having an intention helps you stay focused and positive on the outcome you want to achieve.

3. Gives the Universe Permission to Work on Your Behalf

When you worry, it is as if you are praying for what you don’t want. When you set an intention, it is as if you are saying to the Universe, God, your angels, and guides, that you desire a specific outcome. It gives your higher power and the Universe a direction to focus on. When you set an intention, the universe can help bring you what you need.

    Thanks for the video, but a quick question, I have been doing an intention for about 9 years and I still don’t have that desire (partner), what do I need to do? Although, I try to have faith, trust, but it’s hard after that long of a time.

      Hello Mary, Focus on what you want by getting in touch with the feeling instead of the actual outcome. If what you really want is romantic love hold that intention vs a specific type of man. This may help. What you will find is the love is what you want and you will feel loved now, which can attract what you want to you. Shannon
