1. Follow Your Dreams & Trust Your Heart

When we follow our dreams we fill more fulfilled. You are always getting insights, and as Liz Gilbert says, “When you are searching for a path in your life and you see no options and nothing make sense but you get this crazy idea, DO IT. You have to do it…You will know the call of your destiny because it will sound insane. The call will not make sense. The call will not fit into what your culture and your history suggest that you are supposed to do. The call will cost you money and time. And relationships. The call will not please your tribe. The call will ask you to do something you have no training in, no talent for, no safety net about. Do it. That’s your LIFE calling. You come here to walk across the miles of sky that constitute the dangerous, weird, ridiculous, messy, ecstatic, magnificent, mystical journey that is the once-in-an-eternity experiment of the universe that is called YOUR LIFE. ” My call was to leave corporate and follow my heart to be a writer. Today I feel more peace than ever because I trusted my heart. Trust the call. That call is your soul rooting for you. It is your future self-shining light on your path. Trust it. Honor it. Courageously go for it. Give yourself permission to follow your heart and take action on your dreams. You will feel connected to your best self.

2. In the Moment

The truth is, all we have is here and now. A lot of the time when we feel anxious it is because we are trying to control the future. When you feel sad or depressed it may be because you are in the past.

3. Meditation

Meditation is not always zoning and omming out. Find a process that works for you. Meditation is anytime when you are fully connected and aligned, when you are truly present in the moment.

Loved the post! I find that I feel more connected to myself when I am able to stay in the present and be grateful for moments that are in the now.
